Research at the UOC is organized into research units that encompass groups and research staff.
All work towards the University's five research missions: lifelong learning; ethical and human-centred technology; digital transition and sustainability; culture for a critical society; and digital health and planetary well-being.
The UOC also has a Doctoral School, which offers 8 doctoral programs.

Research assessment and FAIR data
We aim to make sure that, by the year 2030, all the university's research data is generated in line with the FAIR data principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).
