Laura Fólica (GlobaLS) will be a guest professor at Vrije Universiteit Brussel

Laura Fólica, a member of the Social Networks of the Past. Mapping Hispanic and Lusophone Literary Modernity, 1898-1959 (MapModern) ERC StG project and postdoctoral researcher in the IN3's Global Literary Studies (GlobaLS) research group, has been invited to teach a Digital Humanities and Hispanic-American Literature course as a guest professor. This has been organized by the Centre for Literary and Intermedial Crossings research group at Vrije Universiteit Brussel, in the context of the 2020-2021 Émile Lorand Chair for Spanish Language and Literary Studies.

The course, which will be given each Wednesday from 21 April to 19 May, starting at 10 a.m. (CEST) and lasting 2-3 hours, aims to reflect on ways to study Hispanic-American literature through the prism of digital humanities.
