Would you like to attend the 4th edition of the final phase of the «Present your Thesis in 4 Minutes» contest 2021?
The Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation (FCRI), with the support of the Government of Catalonia, is organizing the final phase of the contest in which 12 Catalan universities will participate. In this edition, in accordance with the health measures established because of the Covid-19, a reduced event will take place at the Movistar Centre Barcelona with only the presence of the 12 finalists, their guests and the jury.

The Doctoral School is glad to invite you to this event, in case you are interested in attending this final phase to give your support to our candidate Pablo Rey (you can see here the recently published interview and the video with his presentation for the first phase of the contest).
The contest's goal is to communicate research to society and stimulate participants' interest in disseminating science.
The candidates will present their research in language that can be understood by the general public and with the added challenge of explaining it in 4 minutes or less.
The aim is to encourage doctoral students to improve their abilities and techniques for conveying and disseminating knowledge in simple, easy-to-understand terms.
